CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: | |
| o | Conceived a marketing program of high-end deliverables to create a distinguished upscale identity for our Prestige Properties. Sellers and agents enthusiastically embraced prototypes leading to a 10% increase in new listings.
| o | Directed design staff through the development of all Marketing & Advertising projects. Personally responsible for initial conceptualization and final approval-gave art direction & timeline guidance. Client feedback indicated high levels of satisfaction and deadline accuracy was improved by 30%.
| o | Inspired my department to produce a CD-ROM based magazine--an entirely new initiative for a print-based department--that required the development of additional skills and production infrastructure. Designing the project entirely in-house saved the company approximately $80,000 in out-of-pocket vendor costs.
| o | Increased public awareness of Robert Morris College through oral and PowerPoint presentations. Showcased the merits and scope of the college's educational opportunities to prospective students, faculty or partnering institutions in regularly recurring orientation meetings. Student enrollment increased 35%, faculty recruiting increased 20%, and partnerships with institutions such as the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art and State Street Council increased 200%.
| o | Promoted a well-researched and convincing argument to my superiors for an upgraded Web Design program. Restructured the curriculum leading to a 10% increase in retention rate and 25% increase in job placement.
| o | Designed a new identity tool and client deliverables utilizing an ambitious, multi-tiered marketing program including the CD-ROM and web-based Prestige Homes Magazine. Company profile and recruiting capability increased exponentially.
| o | Completely overhauled our newspaper advertising. Negotiated re-designs of ad campaigns in the Chicago Tribune and Pioneer Press papers. The 2002 contracts tripled the coverage and frequency of ads without increasing costs.
| o | Spearheaded the rigorous NCA accreditation review to expand the college's programming. Directed committee work, research and writing efforts, facilities improvements and curriculum development to synthesize a comprehensive proposal including institutional reports and panel presentations resulting in approval of two Bachelors Degree Programs.
| o | Honed my analytical writing and presentation skills as an academic and critic propounding theses such as analyzing the impact of internet usage and virtual reality on the human psyche and extrapolating predictions of their effect on contemporary culture. Published by local newspapers and arts periodicals such as the New Art Examiner, work was also featured at professional conferences and guest lectures.
